I was an easily frustrated child. My brothers and Dad loved playing sports and I was never as good. Dad used to tell me when I would get upset about a play to “Show it on the field.” He never wanted me to smack talk, he wanted me to use that frustration and show that I’m better than my obstacles by continuing to play my best. I still live by that ideology.
